Northeastern Woodworking Show Saratoga Springs

Today we will be at the Saratoga Show and I am looking forward to it. We worked hard at the woodshop over the past few day, on many fronts we are nearing completion but the immediate priority is meeting people that love working wood.

Can we discuss the purpose of shows like this. I had a brief look at the show yesterday evening. Wood leaning against the racks, carvings of bears and instructional areas in many aspects of woodworking. I think this has a real value in an era of working where apprenticeship is all gone there is an increasing need for people to pass on information and instruction through events like this. I will give a fuller report tonight or tomorrow.
