  4. Very good, you really fooled me. I love April Fools, it’s one of my favorite days of the year. Just don’t anyone dare call it a holiday. No sales today isn’t that great?

  5. Hello Sir,
very good. That would be consequent 😉
But who would teach us then? Please stay partly plugged.

With best wishes to you, Sir.

  6. You actually had me going until you hit the part about getting rid of electricity! Thanks for the laugh.

  7. Happy 1st all,…I attended the Northeastern Woodworkers show in Saratoga, New York on the weekend. Bigger than last year with some talented individuals displaying their skills.

It’s still man versus the machines however with mostly major tool companies flogging their equipment as the only way to go about woodworking. Many folks are waking up though through your efforts Paul. As poet Robert Frost wrote, ‘I took the path least traveled by and that has made all the difference’.

  8. Perhaps you should really try it. They filmed Wolf Hall using only candles, after all!

  9. Haha, Paul! i’ve ALWAYS felt that the #1 best electric invention for the shop was the light bulb 😉

  10. Being fairly new to traditional woodworking, I’ve watched a fair share of videos on cutting housing joints. After trying other methods, I must say that Paul’s technique came out the best by by far. I suppose that shouldn’t be surprising.
