Workbench Youtube Video-Adding the Second Well

It’s a nice ‘n’ easy add-on you won’t regret. About an hours work, probably, but so worth the sanity and order it brings. You can watch the video here.

  1. Also confused over the screws holding it to the appron being hidden. I would put them elsewhere so it can be removed if desired. However, great addition.

    1. I’m not sure what’s confusing really, Keith, one person chooses to conceal said screws when another wants them seen. How is that confusing? Or perhaps it’s really just that in one person’s opinion they should be available fort accessing if need be and in another’s not? I’m not confused as I know if need be I can still easily move my workbench to wherever I need it to go through a standard 30″ doorway. Perhaps it’s just a matter of personal preference. I don’t think everyone must agree with another’s preference and that includes mine. I think we can leave this to the personal choices we all have.

  2. Greetings from Iowa, USA!

Please help me understand… what is the advantage to sloping the sides of the dividers compared to dadoes that go all the way through or have squared off ends? Is there anything other than preference here? I’ve never seen this before and would never have thought of joining dividers in this way.

    TIA

    1. The ends make minimal contact with the recess until fully seated so no glue is scraped off.

  3. Thanks for sharing the video with us now I can do this manually by myself. This is the complete way of adding the second well youtube video adding.
