  1. Thanks. Your teachings are some of the greatest things for which I’m greatfull. I spent the morning cutting mortises and tennons using your technics. Now is time for turkey!

  2. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well, Paul. Happy Thanksgiving to all of the woodworking “family” as well!

  3. Hi Paul funny how this is my first Thanksgiving in Texas. I found you this year and found out how you lived here for 20 years. I would like extend a very Happy and Safe Thanksgiving to your family your team of workers and especially to you. Thank you for all you do for us.
    Kind regards

  4. Thank You Paul for all you give to the larger community. Sharing your insights, techniques, and peace of mind have been one of my favorite moments on any given day.

  5. Years ago I worked for a company that had a CFO from Scotland at the time. We were waiting in line for the Thanksgiving lunch and one of the women who would kid around with the employees was teasing him on whether he celebrated Thanksgiving or not.

He blasted back “We give thanks on the Fourth of July!”

  6. A much belated but heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving to you Paul and your loved ones, Sometime in the future I would like to see a tutorial on how to create a wooden sole for the antique routers, -Again Many Thanks for everything you have shown us to do and look forward to more – Happy Holidays!

  7. Thank you Paul, that was very thoughtful of you. All the best to you and your growing family for a peaceful and joyous holiday season.

  8. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for the effort and quality of craftsmanship you have provided to us on the Internet! I’m grateful and have learned a lot about wood, tools and beyond.

Beautiful table setting – perfect for Thanksgiving! Just like those one sees at Downton Abbey! Only one chair slightly atilt, otherwise a beautiful scene.

It was surprising to read that you were a “Bobby” in Manchester, which is the locale of one of the best TV shows seen on PBS in the United States : “Scott and Bailey.” It’s seems that the best mystery/crime dramas are always produced by the BBC, and also true for Classic Drama; superb acting, writing, directing, editing and presentation. I have noticed that there appears to be the same precision and high quality dedication with respect to wood working, hand-tools and craftsmanship! Well done, Paul!
