  5. Years ago I worked for a company that had a CFO from Scotland at the time. We were waiting in line for the Thanksgiving lunch and one of the women who would kid around with the employees was teasing him on whether he celebrated Thanksgiving or not.

He blasted back “We give thanks on the Fourth of July!”

  6. Happy Thanksgiving, Mr. Sellers! Enjoy your turkey! Enjoy your family! Enjoy your friends! Give thanks for all of this!

  7. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend. When are you going to teach us to put those curves in a chair back? They look comfortable.

  8. A much belated but heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving to you Paul and your loved ones, Sometime in the future I would like to see a tutorial on how to create a wooden sole for the antique routers, -Again Many Thanks for everything you have shown us to do and look forward to more – Happy Holidays!

  9. Thank you Paul, that was very thoughtful of you. All the best to you and your growing family for a peaceful and joyous holiday season.

  10. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for the effort and quality of craftsmanship you have provided to us on the Internet! I’m grateful and have learned a lot about wood, tools and beyond.

Beautiful table setting – perfect for Thanksgiving! Just like those one sees at Downton Abbey! Only one chair slightly atilt, otherwise a beautiful scene.

It was surprising to read that you were a “Bobby” in Manchester, which is the locale of one of the best TV shows seen on PBS in the United States : “Scott and Bailey.” It’s seems that the best mystery/crime dramas are always produced by the BBC, and also true for Classic Drama; superb acting, writing, directing, editing and presentation. I have noticed that there appears to be the same precision and high quality dedication with respect to wood working, hand-tools and craftsmanship! Well done, Paul!
