  1. Those prizes are going to make several people very happy.

Winning that tenon saw would feel like a big responsibility. Can’t have it hanging on the wall as an ornament. And to make at least as good use of it as mr. Sellers, that’ll sure be a challenge to anyone! And there’d be no excuse such as blaming your tools when your tenons, dovetails etc. don’t come out perfect…

  2. It’s funny. If I were fortunate enough to win, I would keep and cherish the book but I would be most excited to in turn gift the saw to my father, who first showed me what a person can make with their own hands, and the MasterClasses membership to my brother, who I hope to temp and convert to the virtues of hand tool work.

  3. What an adventure of success, as said before ” Great Oaks from little acorns grow” !

  4. Hi Paul congratulations. I’m already a winner I’ve learned so much watching you on YouTube

  5. Paul, your timing with the prizes is impeccable, just in time for my 79th birthday.

  6. Congrats on 400,000!! I have learned so much from you I am amazed. I hope you and your family and staff are and continue to be well.

  7. Well done Sir. 400,000 Subscribers. Not many can say that. A testimony to your ability to work wood and teach.
Thank you. I am appreciative of the confidence you have helped me gain since retirement.

  8. I am currently trying to relearn the hand working skills forgotten over the years, gained with borrowed tools. A good tenon saw is high on my list of tools of acquire. Having one of yours would be icing on the cake!

  9. At 45 yrs old, I feel I’m new to the idea of using hand tools for wood working. Mr. Sellers has been a constant source of inspiration and helpful hints on how to proceed on this journey. Thank you for sharing your all with so many people.

    Have a great day Y’all

  10. At 70 years of age, I’m finally learning how to properly use and care for tools that I’ve had for 40 years. I’ve learned a lot from Paul, but what I like most is how he exudes a lifestyle of simplicity, patience, quiet discipline, kindness, contentedness and appreciation so naturally. You are a great model for life itself. I’m happy that at least 400,000 share this attitude.

  11. Not really a subscriber, chances are about nil.

Just completed a large Tool Cabinet to hold 90% of my hand tools. Getting ready to build a Til for all the hand planes, next….already have a decent Til for the handsaws.

Last two times I posted comments on this site…they disappeared. have posted several photos of Projects to the Gallery…haven’t seen a one show up, yet….been doing wood working since Freshman in High School…back in the mid 60s….been retired for a few years, and use my wood shop to pass the time.
other than Friends and Family, and things I need built…that is it.

If, or when, someone says they need a tool to do wood work, and I have an extra…I simply mail said item to them….Paying Forward.

There has been a Standing Offer in my shop…IF someone picks up a plane, and can’t seem to get it to work, or too Rusty & Krusty to get there….They can send it to my shop, no charge, other than they pay postage both ways. I will have said plane working like new, and send it back to them….sometimes within a single day….fettled and sharpened, ready to go right out of the shipping box.

just the way I do things…
