Vocational calling for others

This was a lovely day today. A couple of times I walked out of the castle into the grounds and realised how stunning it is to be here. I am a fortunate man. I followed my calling and never regretted becoming a woodworker. It answered all of my ambitions and now I can see the work being lived out by my fellow woodworkers.

Soon I plan a series of Saturday workshops for local young people somewhere around the age range of 18-25 years to come into the workshop and follow a course with me designed to see if they like woodworking and would choose it as a career possibility. I want to see how they feel to be in a real workshop being directed through a course designed for them to both learn and assess an alternative possibility.
