    I got the last oilstones I will need for the rest of my life 🙂 I’m going to set them up into a sharpening hook similat to what you’ve got, and make a beautiful lid for it like your sharpening stone boxes.

    Thank you for all you’ve done, and here’s to the future!

    (At this point I will raise my glass of spiked egg nog and toast to everything yet to come, and to teaching these things to my new daughter.)

    Merry Christmas to you and your family Paul. As a beginning woodworker, your blog and videos have taught me a lot.

    1. Glad to help. Have a wonderful new year with the kids. One of the greatest bonuses to my woodworking life was having each of mu children being in the workshop and learning their craft as they came if age which varied between say 5 and 7 years old.

      1. Two of our grandchildren came for Christmas, youngest 21/4 burst in the door …”can we go into your garage grandad and make a tipper truck 45 mins later we were pushing it along the floor.
        Then my six year old asked if we could make a butterfly……both achieved with imagination and fun…..together……..For 2016 I’m building a workshop in their garden…..wonderful thanks Paul
